I think we may not have been ready for the implementation of tools on some levels but it started to open the group to discussing how to move the culture towards that direction. The instructor did very well navigating all the emotions, struggles and unspoken needs of rebuilding trust. He slowed the pace to refocus on what was needed more than just what was on the agenda.
