One of the more complex competency categories that we measure is the Sales Technology Competency. It has 22 different components or attributes to it, from how a seller leverages their CRM, uses Social Selling, and masters Video Proficiency for selling success. As this is one of the most complicated areas to address across the multitudes of industries, products, and services, it made some sense to focus on just one of these areas – The Social Selling Competency.
One of the most baffling elements of selling these days is the ability to properly deal with all the social media platforms that are out there. And like the unbelievable Conversation Prism by Brian Solis & JESS3 (see the infographic at the end of this article), it would take days to sort through all the various platforms that you could choose from to effectively use social selling to your advantage in a sales campaign.
Instead, I thought this interview on how a 22-year-old Gretta Rose Van Riel built a $600,000/month business selling tea, might be a great way to share the essentials. The interviewer is Nathan Chan, and the video and index are included below.
